We have been working closely with the remote control blinds retailer, Controliss, to improve their brand design and increase awareness. This has been achieved through implementing specific internet marketing strategies, relating to the company’s SEO, branding and advertising.  Our web design experts firstly re-designed their website, changing it from being noisy and bright, which didn’t quite fit the home-furnishings industry, to luxurious and calm. This fresh design helped to promote their new image as being up-market and desirable, much like the products that they sell. Controliss offer a wide range of blinds in various styles including, venetians, roller blinds and the classic roman blinds. All of their products are powered by motors that run on either batteries or electric mains, so there’s no need for messy and dangerous cords. Controliss have even made it possible to control your curtains using an electric curtain track, which also works at a touch of a button, similar to the remote control blinds.

Search engine growth is a key element to our internet market strategy for Controliss, and involves the help of our SEO experts.  Along with changing the branding of their website, our web developers also had to make alterations to enhance the websites compatibility with search engines. We have been developing key search terms for the company, using organic techniques such as blogging and external link generation, in hope to achieve a higher position on search engine results. Controliss are currently the third result on Google, for the keywords ‘electric blinds’ and ‘remote control blinds,’ showing just how much has been achieved. We are also focussing on keywords relating to their products and have achieved a second page result for the keywords ‘wood blinds’ and ‘vertical blinds.’ Blogging is an important element when it comes to improving SEO, as when you feature key words in blog posts, they will be recognised by Google if the content is unique and of high quality.

Our internet marketing campaigns have been extremely successful so far, bringing more traffic to the Controliss website, with the added help of existing offline campaigns.
